BCSSA Provincial Logo Contest:

As you likely are aware, the BCSSA Provincial Championships for Water Polo, Diving, Synchronized Swimming, Speed Swimming take place at the Commonwealth pool on Monday August 17th to Sunday August 23rd. As the VI region is hosting this year’s event, we have the opportunity to design the logo as well. The VI region has opted to run a competition in order to select a great potential logo for this year’s event.

- Who is eligible to enter? Anyone including swimmers, coaches parents and volunteers and members of communities that have summer swim teams.

Logo function: To be used on T-shirts, hats and electronic and other media that will be used to promote provincials.
Logo content. Relatively simple image and text, Maximum of three colours (black included), (4 aquatic disciplines) WATER POLO, SPEED SWIMMING, DIVING and SYNCHRONIZED SWIMMING (in block letters), Graphic design should be representative of the VI region. (Avoid use of any symbols of BC summer swim clubs), BCSSA 2015 PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIPS VICTORIA, VANCOUVER ISLAND

Judging: The initial entries will be viewed without prior knowledge of who submitted entries, and be narrowed down to 3 by an unbiased panel. Each summer swimming club in the VI region will get one “vote” on the final three. Then we will submit the logo to BCSSA, who will have final say in the logo choice. You can find past logo designs on our website under the News section.
