Swim families,

A few notes to those who are attending the Salt Spring Meet this weekend:

1. There is an annual tradition at this meet to host a Mexican Potluck at the campground where most of us are staying. All Nanaimo families are welcome! Please sign up your name and food item you will share on the orange poster outside the front gate of the pool. There will be Pinatas for the little ones! Please bring beverages, cutlery, plates etc. and chairs to sit on.

2. Ferry travel can be cheaper if you pre-buy a BC Ferries Experience card ($100 or so)at the Dep. Bay terminal. Also, children going to the swim meet travel free! Please inform the ticket seller when you pay.

3. Salt Spring hosts a Parent Relay as well! Cost is $40 due by noon on Saturday. See Leah Johnson for forms. One year we had 4 teams! Let’s show them our Nanaimo Spirit!!

Note: On Saturday, the meet starts at 10:30 am so the team meeting will be earlier than in the past. Exact times TBA as soon as possible.
