Work Party Reminder
Just a quick reminder that the push is on! Water is in the pool and we need to finish up the Coaches/Lifeguard room on Saturday, April 18th at 10 am.
Please contact Don Goodman to help email@example.com and start your volunteer hours early.
Early Registration Discounts
Thank you for signing up today and Michelle realizes that for some of you the sibling discount code did not work.
Never fear! Please sign up for your children at the full price and Michelle can go in afterwards and refund your credit card.
Thank you for your patience with this process. It will make things much less time consuming for coaches and volunteers once we iron out the wrinkles in terms of meet sign up, volunteer hour tracking, receipts, meet fees etc.
Any questions, please email Michelle James at NWRSC.firstname.lastname@example.org
Early Registration for Returning Swimmers
SWIM FAMILIES, PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY!
The 2015 season is almost here, and this year we are excited to offer online registration! The NWRSC Board of Directors is very excited to move our registration process into the 21st century, and we are happy to be improving and streamlining the registration and payment process through the use of the Active Network. We thank you in advance for your patience with this process.
Use the following link to take you to the Active Network that is hosting our registration process. You will need to create an Active Network Username to start, and then follow the registration process as outlined online. Payment can be made online using major credit cards.
Due to increasing numbers of swimmers, we may need to find optimum levels of the total registrations this year. Remaining spaces for new swimmers will be open on April 25th, so register early to avoid disappointment.
When registering your second, third or fourth child in your immediate family, please use the coupon code SECOND, THIRD OR FOURTH with each subsequent registration to receive the $25 off each sibling after the first.
Alumni swimmers are swimmers that have graduated from high school. Their coupon code is ALUMNI to get their appropriate rate.

Further into the season we will be facilitating meet event sign up and the payment of meet fees online.

3rd Annual Nanaimo White Rapids Splash and Dash Invitational
The 3rd Annual Nanaimo White Rapids Splash and Dash Invitational is this Friday, April 10th. We are asking all White Rapid swimmer’s who are not participating with a local elementary school at the event, to meet outside the back doors of Beban Park Pool (doors closest to the deep end and the diving boards) between 2:30 and 2:40 pm – look for the White Rapids pop up tent. Please have your swim suit on, goggles in hand, and any gear you need for the transition area with you (shoes, shorts, shirt, and towel), as Coach Courtney and Coach Richard will be there to meet swimmers and mark down heat and lane numbers on their hand.
Swimmers will then be sent inside to receive instructions from Coach Byron and Coach Gareth before the Splash and Dash begins. The event will start shortly after 3:00pm and heats will run in the following order:
High School Girls and Boys
We are asking parents to stay out of the transition area at all times. There will be close to 315 athletes participating in the event, so it is imperative that the area is kept clear.
If you have any questions, please email Gareth Saunders at email@example.com or Byron Trajan at firstname.lastname@example.org.
